Procedure

(3-Benzyloxy-4-hydroxy-pyridin-2-yl)-(4-fluorophenyl)-methanone: From 1.62 g of 3-benzyloxy-2-[hydroxy-(4-fluorophenyl)-methyl]-pyridin-4-ol there is obtained analogously to Example 70a, after chromatography, (3-benzyloxy-4-hydroxy-pyridin-2-yl)-(4-fluorophenyl)-methanone in the form of a greenish resin, Rf value: 0.53 (silica gel 60, ethyl acetate/ethanol 6/1).
