In a manner similar to Example 1(d), by reaction of 4.5 g (16.8 mmol) of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-5,5,8,8-tetramethyl-2-naphthylacetyl chloride with 3 g (16.8 mmol) of allyl 4-aminobenzoate, 5.1 g (75%) of the expected ester are obtained in the form of a slightly yellow oil.
