Reaction Steps
A solution of 0.12 g (0.36 mmol) of 3-(RS)-(4-(4-fluorophenyl)piperidinylmethyl)-4-(RS)-(trifluoromethyl)pyrrolidine, 0.069 g (0.43 mmol) of indole-7-carboxylic acid, 0.088 g (0.72 mmol) of DMAP and 0.097 g (0.5 mmol) of 1-[3-(Dimethylamino)propyl]-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (Aldrich) in 10 mL of CH2Cl2 was stirred at rt for 4 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated and the residue was purified by chromatography (silica, acetone:hexanes, 1:5) to give the title compound.
