Procedure
0.5 g of 2-aminomethyl-6-benzyl-7-cyclopentyl-4-ethyl-imidazo[4.5-e]-s-triazolo[1.5-a]pyrimidin-5-one (for preparation see synthesis example II) are dissolved in 10 ml of dichloromethane and 0.2 ml of pyridine, and 0.1 ml of acetyl chloride is added dropwise whilst cooling. After 2 hours' stirring at constant temperature the mixture is diluted with 10 ml of dichloromethane for working up and washed twice with dilute aqueous hydrochloric acid. The organic phase is separated off, dried over magnesium sulphate and the solvent is distilled off in vacuo. 0.7 g of the title compound are left in the form of an amorphous colourless solid.
