The title compound was prepared following the procedure described in Step A of Example 1 from 7-amino-heptanoic acid methyl ester hydrochloride, of Preparation 1, and 4-thiazol-2-yl-benzaldehyde, of Preparation 25. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.91 (d, 2H), 7.84 (d, 1H), 7.38 (d, 2H), 7.30 (d, 1H), 3.82 (s, 2H), 3.65 (s, 3H), 2.62 (t, 2H), 2.29 (t, 2H), 1.61 (m, 2H), 1.51 (m, 2H), 1.33 (m, 4H); MS 333 (M+1).
