Reaction Steps

To a solution of (3-{[(4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl)-(4-thiazol-2-yl-benzyl)-amino]-methyl}-phenoxy)-acetic acid tert-butyl ester of Step A in CH2Cl2 (2mL) at 0° C. was added cold TFA (1 mL) and the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The reaction was concentrated using a stream of nitrogen. Additional CH2Cl2 (1 mL) was added and the solution was concentrated using a stream of nitrogen. This procedure was repeated and the residue was dried in vacuo to provide the title compound (24.6 mg). MS 524 (M−1).
