Procedure
76.6 g of 3-cyano-2,4,5-trifluoro-benzoyl fluoride are introduced at 60-65° C. together with 1 g of anhydrous aluminium chloride and then 25 g of silicon tetrachloride are added dropwise in the course of the evolution of gas. After the evolution of gas at 65° C. has ended, the mixture is distilled in vacuo. 73.2 g of 3-cyano-2,4,5-trifluoro-benzoyl chloride pass over in the boiling range from 120-122° C./14 mbar.
