Prepared from (6-methyl-2-p-tolyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl)-acetic acid methyl ester 35a and 3-methyl-3H-imidazole-4-carbonyl chloride using the procedure of Method C described above. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ2.34 (s, 3H), 2.39 (s, 3H), 3.91 (s, 3H), 4.52 (s, 2H), 7.05 (dd, J=1.1, 9.1 Hz, 1H), 7.26 (m, 2H), 7.57 (m, 4H), 7.74 (s, 1H), 7.80 (s, 1H). Mass spectrum (m/e) 345 (M+).
