Reaction Steps
N-(4-bromo-3-methyl-5-isoxazolyl)-3-phenoxythiophene-2-sulfonamide was prepared from 3-phenoxythiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride and 5-amino-4-bromo-3-methylisoxazole using the method described in Example 1. The product was recrystallized from acetonitrile/H2O to give a solid m.p. 121°-123° C., 61% yield.
