Reaction Steps

To a mixture of ethyl 5-bromo-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-carboxylate (0.5 g, 2.26 mmol) and (3S)-3-(2-bromo-5-fluorophenoxy)pyrrolidine (0.5 mL, 3.4 mmol) in THF (4.5 mL) was added DBU (0.5 mL, 3.4 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 0.5 h then filtered and the filtrate concentrated. Purification by Combiflash (SiO2, gradient elution 70-100% EtOAc/Hexanes) afforded the desired product as solid.
