Procedure

A mixture of Example 274B and concentrated H2SO4 (0.5 mL) in dichloromethane (100 mL) saturated with isobutylene at room temperature was stirred for 4 hours and concentrated. The concentrate was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel with 2% ethyl acetate/hexanes to provide the desired product.
