Procedure

Prepared as described above in Example 1 starting from 4,6-dichloro-2-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde and 2-chloroaniline to give the title compound 4-chloro-6-(2-chloro-phenylamino)-2-methylsulfanyl-pyrimidine-5-carbaldehyde. 1H-NMR: δ 2.55 (s, 3H), 7.17 (m, 1H), 7.29 (m, 2H), 7.44 (m, 1H), 10.37 (s, 1H), 11.49 (br s, 1H). LC MS (m/e)=315 (MH+).
