2-(4-dimethylamino-4-phenylcyclohexylidene)-1-[3-(1H-indol-3-yl)pyrrolidine-1-yl]ethanone (200 mg, 0.47 mmole) was dissolved in ethyl methyl ketone (10 ml) and chlorotrimethylsilane (0.09 ml, 0.7 mmole) was added. After 1.5 hours the hydrochloride was obtained as a diastereoisomer mixture in the form of a colourless compound with an m.p. of 220°-223° C. in a yield of 96% (210 mg) (Example 11).
