Procedure
10 g of Perindopril was suspended in a 1:1 mixture of methanol and water (5; 5 v/v) of dichloromethane (250 ml) at room temperature. To this solution (L)-Arginine (7.1 g) was added and heated to reflux to get clear solution. The resulting solution was filtered through hyflow bed to remove any undissolved particulate. The filtrate is then cooled to room temperature and subjected to spray drying to give amorphous Perindopril (L)-Arginine.
