Reaction Steps

A solution of Example 113D (0.17 g, 0.636 mmol) in N,N-dimethylformamide (3.5 mL) was cooled to 0° C. in an ice bath, and sodium hydride (60% dispersion in mineral oil, 0.031 g, 0.776 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred 30 minutes, cooled to −42° C., and (2-(chloromethoxy)ethyl)trimethylsilane (0.146 mL, 0.827 mol) was added dropwise over 3 minutes. The reaction was stirred at −42° C. for 1 hour and was quenched with saturated aqueous ammonium chloride (3 mL). The mixture was partitioned between water and ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with water and brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The concentrate was purified by flash chromatography on a silica gel column, eluting with a gradient of 0% to 25% ethyl acetae in hexane, to provide the title compound. MS ESI(+) m/z 397.2 [M+H]+.
