This compound was prepared from ethyl 4-hydroxy-2-oxo-7-(phenylmethyl)-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and isobutylamine employing methods similar to those described in Example 2 and was obtained as a white solid; 1H NMR (d6-DMSO) δ 10.82 (1H, br), 8.22 (1H, s), 7.35-7.22 (6H, m), 4.03 (2H, s), 3.11 (2H, br), 1.77 (1H, m), 0.92 (6H, d, J=6.5 Hz); HRMS calcd for C20H21N3O3+H+: 352.1661. Found: 352.1645.
