This compound was prepared from ethyl 4-hydroxy-2-oxo-7-(phenylmethyl)-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and thiophene-2-methylamine employing methods similar to those described in Example 2 and was obtained as a white solid: 1H NMR (d6-DMSO) δ 12.25 (1H, br), 11.10 (1H, br), 10.2 (1H, br), 8.28 (1H, br s), 7.38 (1H, br s), 7.34-7.22 (6H, m), 7.04 (1H, s), 6.97 (1H, d, J=4.3 Hz), 4.68 (2H, br), 4.04 (2H, br s); HRMS calcd for C21H17N3O3S+H+: 392.1069. Found: 392.1070.
