This compound was prepared from ethyl 7-benzyl-4-hydroxy-1-[4-(methylsulfonyl)benzyl]-2-oxo-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and 2-methoxyethylamine employing methods similar to those described in Example 2. The product was obtained as a white solid: 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 10.22 (1H, br m), 8.61 (1H, s), 7.81 (2H, d, J=8 Hz), 7.29 (3H, m), 7.17 (2H, d, J=8 Hz), 7.06 (1H, s), 7.02 (2H, m), 5.41 (2H, br), 4.05 (2H, s), 3.67 (2H, m), 3.60 (2H, m), 3.40 (3H, s), 3.01 (3H, s); HRMS calcd for C27H27N3O6S+H+: 522.1699. Found: 522.1686.
