This compound was prepared from ethyl 7-benzyl-4-hydroxy-1-(2-morpholin-4-yl-2-oxoethyl)-2-oxo-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and 4-(aminomethyl)pyridine employing methods similar to those employed in Example 11. The product was obtained as a white solid: 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 10.48 (1H, br t, J=6 Hz), 8.62 (1H, d, J=1.1 Hz), 8.58 (2H, d, J=6 Hz), 7.38-7.29 (3H, m), 7.27 (2H, d, J=6 Hz), 7.19 (2H, d, J=7 Hz), 7.02 (1H, s), 4.93 (2H, s), 4.65 (2H, d, J=6 Hz), 4.16 (2H, s), 3.69 (4H, m), 3.57 (2H, m), 3.51 (2H, m); ES+ MS: 514 (M+H+, 100).
