This compound was prepared from ethyl 7-benzyl-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1-(1,3-thiazol-2-ylmethyl)-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and 2-methoxyethylamine employing methods similar to those described in Example 5 and was obtained as a white solid: 1H NMR (d6-DMSO) δ 10.21 (1H, t, J=5 Hz), 8.56 (1H, s), 8.12 (1H, s), 7.69 (1H, d, J=3.2 Hz), 7.67 (1H, d, J=3.2 Hz) 7.28-7.22 (4H, m), 7.18 (1H, t, J=7 Hz), 5.78 (2H, s), 4.09 (2H, s), 3.56-3.48 (4H, m), 3.28 (3H, s); HRMS calcd for C23H22N4O4S+H+: 451.1440. Found: 451.1428.
