This compound was prepared from ethyl 3-amino-5-[(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]-2-pyridinecarboxylate and 3-(2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinyl)propanal employing methods similar to those described in Example 265 and was obtained as a clear oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.81 (d, J=1.6 Hz, 1 H), 7.71 (br, 1 H), 7.07 (dd, J=8.5, 5.4 Hz, 2 H), 6.92 (t, J=8.6 Hz, 2 H), 6.74 (d, J=1.3 Hz, 1 H), 4.35 (q, J=7.1 Hz, 2 H), 3.86 (s, 2 H), 3.35-3.29 (m, 4 H), 3.10 (m, 2 H), 2.33 (t, J=8.2 Hz, 2 H), 1.96 (m, 2 H), 1.79 (m, 2 H), 1.35 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 3 H); MS m/z 400 (M+H)+.
