Reaction Steps
3-[5-(Pyrid-2-ylmethoxy)-3-(2-methyl-2-propylthio)-1-[4-(2-methoxypyrid-5-yl)benzyl]indol-2-yl]-2,2-dimethylpropionic acid (1 eq.) is added to a reactor containing ethanol and stirred. A KOH solution in water (1.05 eq.) is added to the reactor and stirred at ambient temperature. After removal of the solvent, potassium 3-[5-(pyrid-2-ylmethoxy)-3-(2-methyl-2-propylthio)-1-[4-(2-methoxypyrid-5-yl)benzyl]indol-2-yl]-2,2-dimethylpropionate is obtained.
