Reaction Steps
A mixture of EXAMPLE 50A (4 g), 1-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)pyrrole-2-boronic acid (5.44 g), and dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) (1.2 g) in 7:3:2 DME/water/ethanol (300 mL) and 2M aqueous Na2CO3 (17.2 mL) at 80° C. was stirred for 140 minutes, cooled and concentrated. The concentrate was dissolved in ethyl acetate, washed with brine and concentrated. The concentrate was flash chromatographed on silica gel with 1:4 ethyl acetate/hexane.
