A solution of 1-({trans-4-[6-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-1-benzofuran-2-yl]cyclohexyl}oxy)propan-2-amine (373 mg) and acetic anhydride (0.51 mL) in pyridine (4 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 hr. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, and the obtained residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (NH, hexane/ethyl acetate). The obtained residue was recrystallized from ethyl acetate and hexane to give the title compound (265 mg) as white crystals.
