1-Oxoisoindoline-5-carboxylic acid was then coupled with Intermediate 1 using the general methods described above for the amide coupling reaction (Table 2) to provide the title compound, (S)-1-oxo-N-((4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)(3-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yl)methyl)isoindoline-5-carboxamide, as a white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ ppm 8.92 (d, J=4.7 Hz, 1H), 8.36 (d, J=7.4 Hz, 1H), 8.09-7.99 (m, 2H), 7.97-7.88 (m, 2H), 7.65-7.53 (m, 5H), 7.51 (dd, J=4.9, 7.8 Hz, 1H), 6.90 (d, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 4.54 (s, 2H). MS (ESI pos. ion) m/z: 480.2 (M+H).
