Reaction Steps
In the same manner as in Example 10b (a) and using cis-2-hydroxymethyl-3-methylpiperidine described in J. Heterocycl. Chem., sol. 9, pp. 875-878 (1972), 3-(cis-2-hydroxymethyl-3-methylpiperidin-1-yl)propionitrile is obtained. In the same manner as in Example 1b (e) and using 3-(Cis-2-hydroxymethyl-3-methylpiperidin-1-yl)propionitrile and N,N-diethyl-2,3-dimethylbenzamide, 3-[2-(cis-2-hydroxymethyl-3-methylpiperidin-1-yl)ethyl]-5-methyl-2H-isoquinolin-1-one is obtained.
