Reaction Steps

Using the method described in Example 49, 3-cyclopentyl-2-{4-[2-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-phenoxy]-6-oxo-6H-pyridazin-1-yl}-propionic acid (Intermediate 79) and 1-((R)-2,2-dimethyl-[1,3]dioxolan-4-ylmethyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-ylamine (Intermediate 4) afforded impure 3-cyclopentyl-N-[1-((R)-2,2-dimethyl-[1,3]dioxolan-4-ylmethyl)-1H-pyrazol-3-yl]-2-{4-[2-(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-phenoxy]-6-oxo-6H-pyridazin-1-yl}-propionamide as a white foam as a mixture of diastereomers (0.70 g, 95%).
