Following the procedure as described in Example 2, making variations as necessary to replace benzylazide with (azidomethyl)cyclopropane to react with ethyl 2-ethynyl-4-methylthiazole-5-carboxylate, the title compound was obtained as a white solid in 70% yield: 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.21 (s, 1H), 4.39-4.19 (m, 4H), 2.69 (s, 3H), 1.38-1.19 (m, 4H), 0.74-0.64 (m, 2H), 0.48-0.37 (m, 2H); MS (ES+) m/z 293.3 (M+1).
