The title compound is prepared by dissolving N-{(3aR,4S,6R,6aS)-6-[2-[2-(4-Chloro-phenyl)-ethoxy]-6-(2,2-diphenyl-ethylamino)-purin-9-yl]-2,2-dimethyl-tetrahydro-cyclopenta[1,3]dioxol-4-yl}-propionamide (Example 235, Step 2) in THF, adding an equal volume of 1.0M hydrochloric acid, and stirring at room temperature for 48 hours, before diluting with water, and extracting into ethyl acetate. The organic phase is dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and the volatile components removed under reduced pressure, to yield the title compound.
