10% Palladium carbon (30 mg) was added to an ethanol (3.0 mL) solution of 1-methyl-5-(2-phenylethenyl)-1H-pyrazole (300 mg), and the obtained solution was then stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere at a room temperature for 14 hours. Thereafter, the reaction solution was filtrated with Celite, and the filtrate was then concentrated under a reduced pressure, so as to obtain the title compound (310 mg) in the form of a colorless oily substance.
