Add trifluoroacetic (1.06 mL, 14.1 mmol) to a solution of 3-{4-[2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-7-oxo-7H-thieno[2,3-c]pyridin-6-yl]-phenylcarbamoyl}-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (0.12 g, 0.21 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL). Stir the mixture at RT for 2 h, and concentrate in vacuo. Dissolve the crude residue in CH2Cl2, filter through an SCX column with CH2Cl2 and MeOH, then elute the product with 2 N NH3 in MeOH. Concentrate the solution, then filter the solid with Et2O to give 0.84 g (88%) of the title compound. LC-ES/MS m/z (35Cl) 450.0 [M+H]+.
