tert-Butyl 4-methyl-4-{(3S)-3-methyl-4-[6-(trifluoromethyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-yl]piperazin-1-yl}piperidine-1-carboxylate (0.32 g, 0.6 mmol) was dissolved in a 4 M solution of HCl in dioxane (8.0 mL). After being stirred at room temperature for 2 hrs, the solution was concentrated to give the title compound (0.35 g) as a trihydrochloride salt. MS calculated for C21H30F3N3: (M+H)+ 382. found 382.2.
