Procedure
2-methyl-2-butene (11.5 ml) and sodium dihydrogen phosphate (3.89 g) were added to an acetone-water (100 ml-25 ml) solution of the compound 321-7 (7.8 g). The reaction solution was cooled on ice. Sodium chlorite (3.91 g) was added to the reaction solution, and the obtained mixture was stirred at room temperature for 15 hours. Water was added to the reaction solution, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The obtained organic layer was dried over magnesium sulfate and concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (n-heptane:ethyl acetate=9:1 to 0:1), so as to obtain the title compound (4.57 g).
