Procedure
4-((1R,2R)-2-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-1-(5-(3-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)phenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl)propylamino)-2-chloro-3-methylbenzonitrile (intermediate 9c) (226 mg, 0.37 mmol) was deprotected using tetrabutylammonium fluoride (1.0 M solution in THF, 1.5 mL, 1.5 mmol) as described in the preparation of example 7. After column chromatography (80% EtOAc/hexanes) the title compound was isolated as a white solid (140 mg, quant.). 1H NMR (500 MHz, acetone-d6, δ in ppm) 8.87 (br s, 1H), 7.46 (m, 3H), 7.37 (at, J=8.1 Hz, 1H), 7.05 (m, 1H), 6.87 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 1H), 5.86 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 5.06 (dd, J=5.5, 8.8 Hz, 1H), 4.73 (br s, 1H), 4.53 (m, 1H), 2.35 (s, 3H), 1.42 (d, J=6.3 Hz, 3H).
