Following the synthetic protocol described in Method C′; {4-[5-(2-Fluoro-pyridin-3-yl)-2-methoxy-benzylamino]-cyclohexyl}-methyl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester is prepared starting from 5-(2-Fluoro-pyridin-3-yl)-2-methoxy-benzaldehyde and (4-Amino-cyclohexyl)-methyl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester. The desired product is isolated in 70%.
