Reaction Steps

150 mg palladium on charcoal was added to 765 mg 4-(6-methoxy-pyrimidin-4-yl)-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyridine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester in 90 mL methanol. The reaction was stirred 3.5 h at RT and 3 bar hydrogen. Then, the reaction was filtered and evaporated to yield 769 mg of the desired product. Rt: 1.31 min (method K), (M+H)+: 294
