Reaction Steps
In a similar manner as described for example B18, 171.7 mg of 2-(bromomethyl)benzonitrile, 200 mg of methyl 3-hydroxy-5-(3H-imidazo[4,5-c]pyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-carboxylate, 110.9 mg of potassium carbonate in 6 ml anhydrous DMF yield the title compound.
