1,1-dimethylethyl 4-(5-(2-chloro-4-pyrimidinyl)-4-{2-fluoro-3-[(3-furanylsulfonyl)-amino]phenyl}-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-1-piperidinecarboxylate (150 mg, 0.242 mmol) was dissolved into 1,4-dioxane (3 mL) and the solution was degassed for 10 min. PdCl2(dppf)-CH2Cl2 adduct (13.83 mg, 0.017 mmol) and dimethylzinc (0.242 mL, 0.484 mmol) were added to the reaction mixture. The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 1 h. The reaction was quenched with methanol (3 mL) and water (10 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (3×). The extract was dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated. The residue was purified using column chromatography (40% to 100% EtOAc/hexane) to give the title compound (118 mg). MS (ESI): 600.3 [M+1]+.
