Using the procedure of Example 137, 3.2 g of the methyl ester from Example 130 was saponified to 1.9 g (61%) of rac-5-[[1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,9-dioctyl-9H-dibenzo[b,d]pyrrol-6-yl]oxy]-2-furancarboxylic acid as a white foam.
