Procedure
In a stainless steel vessel having an inner volume of about 25 l, 8.3 kg of the aqueous solution of sodium silicate was gradually mixed with 7.8 kg of the dilute solution of sodium aluminate with stirring to form an entirely homogeneous gel of sodium aluminosilicate. Then, the temperature of the sodium aluminosilicate gel was elevated to 90° C. with violet stirring and at this temperature, crystallization was effected over a period of 48 hours.
