A mixture of 2-bromomethyl-2,3-dihydrobenzo[1,4]dioxine (47 mg, 0.20 mmol), 4-(piperidin-3-yl)phenol.HBr (53 mg, 0.20 mmol) and KHCO3 (84 mg, 0.84 mmol) in acetonitrile (2 mL) was heated in a microwave reactor at 160° C. for 6.5 h. The mixture was absorbed on silica and purified by flash chromatography using a gradient of DCM and MeOH as eluent to give 6 mg of the title compound.
