Reaction Steps

A mixture of the compound prepared in Example 239 (0.063 g) and 10% Pd on charcoal (0.0161 g) in ethyl acetate (2 mL) and ethanol (0.5 mL) was placed under hydrogen for 15 hours. The reaction mixture was filtered and concentrated to obtain the title compound (0.0238 g) having the following physical data. 1H NMR (d6-DMSO): δ 9.4-8.2 (br m, 3H), 7.78 (s, 1H), 5.40 (br s, 2H).
