Procedure
A mixture of 1-(4-bromo-2,6-difluorophenyl)-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole (i.e. the product of Step C, 1.83 g, 5.6 mmol), B-(2-aminophenyl)-boronic acid (0.90 g, 6.58 mmol), sodium carbonate (2.07 g, 19.5 mmol) and dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(II) (0.33 g, 0.76 mmol) in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (46 mL) and water (11 mL) was heated at 85° C. for 16 h. The reaction mixture was then concentrated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by medium pressure liquid chromatography on silica gel eluted with 0 to 100% ethyl acetate in hexanes to yield the title compound (1.02 g).
