Reaction Steps
The methyl ester of the title compound is prepared from {(S)-6-[(R)-7-fluoro-4-hydroxy-indan-1-yloxy]-2,3-dihydro-benzofuran-3-yl}-acetic acid methyl ester and 3-fluoro-4-hydroxymethyl-phenylboronic acid following a procedure analogous to that described for Intermediate 6. The title compound is obtained after saponification of the methyl ester as described for Example 1. LC (method 6): tR=1.02 min; Mass spectrum (ESI−): m/z=467 [M−H]−.
