The title compound is prepared from 3,4,5-trifluoro-benzonitrile and {(S)-6-[(R)-7-fluoro-4-hydroxy-indan-1-yloxy]-2,3-dihydro-benzofuran-3-yl}-acetic acid (prepared from {(S)-6-[(R)-7-fluoro-4-hydroxy-indan-1-yloxy]-2,3-dihydro-benzofuran-3-yl}-acetic acid methyl ester using the procedure described for Example 1) following a procedure analogous to that described for Intermediate 12. LC (method 4): tR=1.11 min; Mass spectrum (ESI−): m/z=480 [M−H]−.
