The reaction of 4-chloro-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-6,7-dimethoxyquinazoline with 3-amino-5-tert-butylselenophene-2-carboxamide in the presence of DMF/NaOH as described in Example 1 gave title compound as a white color solid, mp 268-270° C. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 12.03 (1H, s, exchangeable with D2O), 9.05 (1H, s), 8.49 (2H, d, J=8.4 Hz), 7.45 (2H, d, J=8.4 Hz), 7.37 (1H, s), 7.32 (1H, s), 5.37 (2H, s, exchangeable with D2O), 4.11 (3H, s), 4.06 (3H, s), 1.52 (9H, s); 13C NMR (100 MHz, CDCl3): δ 168.6, 168.5, 158.1, 155.0, 154.8, 149.9, 148.5, 148.1, 137.7, 136.0, 129.4, 128.5, 122.0, 109.3, 108.4, 108.0, 100.3, 56.3, 56.2, 37.3, 32.7; LC-MS (negative ion mode): m/z 541, 543, 545 (M−H)−.
