To a solution of 4-({4-[({4-[(cis-2-methoxycyclopentyl)oxy]-1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl}oxy)methyl]piperidin-1-yl}methyl)-tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-ol (47 mg, 0.1 mmol, EXAMPLE 37, Step 3) in diethylether (5 mL) was added oxalic acid (14 mg, 0.15 mmol) in diethylether (5 mL). After being stirred at room temperature for 3 hr, the formed precipitate was collected by filtration to give 31 mg (56%) of the title compound as a white solid.
