Starting from 7-[2-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-5-fluorophenyl]-2-methyl-1-{[2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxy]methyl}-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine-3-carboxylic acid (example D.c3) and commercially available tert-butyl (3R*,4R*)-4-amino-3-hydroxy-piperidine-1-carboxylate the title compound is obtained as pale yellow viscous oil.
