Starting from 7-[2-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-4-fluoro-5-methoxyphenyl]-2-methyl-N-(piperidin-4-yl)-1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridine-3-carboxamide hydrochloride (example D.f21) and commercially available methoxy-acetyl chloride the title compound is obtained as colorless solid.
