Procedure

N-benzylsulfonyl-L-alanyl-L-prolyl-L-proline (1.00 q, 2.29 m mole) and L-arginine (0.399 g, 2.29 m mole) were added to water (50 ml) and stirred for 1 hour at room temperature to make a homogeneous solution. The solution was filtered and the thus obtained filtrate was freeze-dried to give N-benzylsulfonyl-L-alanyl-L-prolyl-L-proline L-arginine salt (1.30 g).
